In the evening of August 7, 2026, another sprinkler in our fire mitigation system erroneously went off. This sprinkler was above the executive director's office, very near where the last sprinkler misfire had occurred. Again, there was no fire.

In consultation with multiple experts, we believe that we have determined the root cause of the misfires and will be able to both fix the problem and fix any additional damage from the second sprinkler in the same time frame that we had previously anticipated.

We are still expecting to be able to have ceramics classes on our original schedule for the Holiday session starting in mid-October. We will post when we are more certain on an exact date for classes to begin as well as a date for registration opening.
