There are a variety of activities and programs, hours of service and days of the week that are the perfect combination for you and The Art Center. Help out at one of our fundraising events; assist with a class; help in the office, or help out at the Music in the Grapevines concerts.

Improvements Committee
Do you have experience with building, painting, drywall, electrical, or any other home improvement areas? This committee is an opportunity to put your skills to great use and help out your local Art Center and the arts community!
Exhibitions
Do you love exhibitions and want to engage with what happens behind the scenes? As an exhibitions volunteer, you will help with in-taking, hanging, and installing artwork as well as participating in the curatorial process!
Events
First Fridays, Art Center Benefits, Art & Craft Fairs, Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off...The Art Center has many events throughout the year and we're always looking for volunteers to help! As an event volunteer, you can help by being a greeter, a bartender, a musician, and more!
Docent Program
Are you a people person? Do you have a passion for art and art history? As a docent, you will have access to lectures and information on exhibitions featured at The Art Center each month. Your responsibilities as a docent entail guided tours for patrons and visitors on current exhibitions.
Classroom Assistance
As a classroom assistant for The Art Center, you will help the instructor(s) with the course curriculum, class preparation, and studio practice in one or more of the following programs: 2D and 3D adult education, ceramic technician, youth and teen education including art camps, special needs education and theater.

Unpaid Internships
The Art Center is offering internships for active Colorado Mesa University students and Western Colorado Community College who are looking for experience working within an arts organization. These internships will offer real world experiences while supporting a local non-profit that is a community-oriented organization.
