The Rockies West National 34th Annual Watercolor Exhibition will be on display at The Art Center in Grand Junction from March 1 through April 5. The reception will be held March 1 from 6:30 to 9pm with the Gallery Talk beginning at 6:30.

This exhibition is put on by the Western Colorado Watercolor Society, and we are excited to feature many well-known artists from across the Western Slope, and the United States. The Western Colorado Watercolor Society strives to recognize and teach many local artists by providing information on their website (www.wcwsociety.net), through meetings, fellowship, and workshops. Judge Fealing Lin will be teaching a workshop February 28 through March 1 and will be demonstrating both landscape and portrait skills.
Fealing Lin is a signature member of National Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, Missouri Watercolor Society, and others. She is a popular workshop instructor and judge for national and international shows. Her works appear nationally and internationally and have been published in many Splash books and magazines. By balancing colors and weaving lights and darks, she will show how to achieve painterly and successful works.

"I live for art," says Fealing. "The challenge of each process of every painting keeps me humble, so I can continue being inspired by all the beauties in this world."
