Volunteer!
Join in
the fun and serve as a volunteer at The Art
Center! There are a variety of
activities and programs, hours of service
and days of the week that are the perfect
combination for you and The Art Center.
Help out at one of our fundraising events;
assist with a class; help in the office, or
help out at the Jazz Among the Grapevines
concerts.
Take a

outlines some current volunteer
opportunities or you may have an idea of

· Art
Center Guild
The Art
Center Guild raises funds for The Art
Center. Guild members have a number of
fundraising and social activities throughout
the year, including the annual Arts and
Craft Fair, catering special events, and
volunteering at The Art Center sponsored
events, and more.
· Fall
Figure Drawing/Open Studio Facilitator
The
Art Center is looking for an artist to
facilitate our figure drawing program.
This is not a paid position. The
facilitator would enjoy free open studio
opportunities for 3 to 6 hours a week with a
model and organizing a community of drawers
and painters. This person would not be
an instructor. Following criteria
would apply:
· Enjoy
greeting people and making artists of all
levels feel welcome.
· Able
to focus on timing, lighting, and poses with
a model and group of artists involved.
· Able
to work well with other artists, and
maintain a professional relationship with
models involved.
· Enjoy
and wants the opportunity to draw the figure
regularly on a weekly basis.

Center Special Events
Volunteers are a vital
support of the fundraising events at The Art
Center. Whether you are an art runner for
the Fine Art Auction or help set up booths
at the annual Arts and Craft Fair, you can
contribute to their success.
· Working at The Art Center
Throughout the year, your
volunteer enthusiasm can be rewarded with a
variety of tasks at The Art Center.
Volunteers can help staff hang art work,
care for garden spaces and more..

Children’s programs
Providing art opportunities for our local
children is an important service of The Art
Center. Volunteers are needed to guide
over 3,500 children during Spring Art Week
or to assist art instructors during Summer
Art Camp.
