Parent and Child Ceramics / Teen Ceramics

Beginning - Intermediate

 

Tuition:

          Individual  $185 member / $225 non-member

          Partners $265 member/ $305 non-member

Fall Schedule

September 2 to October 21

 

This class is tailored to students who are between 13 to 18 years old, and 10 year olds with a parent.  Parent / Child duos will share a wheel and learn together the basics of wheel-throwing.

 

Advanced Youth Ceramics

Tuition: $185 member / $225 non-member

Tuesday, 3:30pm - 6:00pm

June 2nd to July 21st

 

Fall Schedule

September 1 - October 20

This class is tailored to youth who have had wheel throwing experience, are willing to accept assigned projects, are interested in improving their skills, and want to explore new areas of decorating.

 

Teen Stone Sculpting

13-18 years of age

with Rachel Egelston

Wednesdays, 4:00am - 6:00pm

September 2 - October 21

$105 Member / $145 Non-member

This class will open the world of carving by coming up with a concept, learning to use hand tools, blocking, understanding the terminology of various subtractive techniques.  Students will develop a sketchbook, do an individual work of art and a communal large scale sculpture piece using a 4,000 pound piece of marble.
