Beginning/Intermediate Ceramics
Hand Building Ceramics For the beginner or experienced clay-worker, this class will explore clay selection, tools, pattern-making, pinching, coiling, slab work, decorating and stamp-making. Hand building with Nina offers endless possibilities for working with clay off the wheel.

Intermediate/Advanced Clay
This course is a continuation of
Beginning/Intermediate Ceramics. You will acquire
skills, techniques, and study of form and function that
include throwing, hand-building and altered thrown
techniques. Further study of cone 10 stoneware,
porcelain clay, multiple glazes, and firing processes
will be introduced. Individual instruction and
independent study are encouraged as the focus of the
class. Not recommended for beginners. Bob Walsh, Art Center instructor
Parent and Child Ceramics/Teen Ceramics This class is tailored to students who are between 13 to 18 years old, and 8 - 10 years olds with a parent. Parent and child duos will share a wheel and learn together the basics of wheel throwing. All skill levels welcome.

Advanced Youth Ceramics This class is tailored to youth who have had wheel throwing experience, are willing to accept assigned projects, are willing to improving their skills, and want to explore new areas of decorating.
